Tony Lemanski can be found at the start of the race course on race day.  For many years he, along with NJFF President Mark Ellerson, skied as part of the infamous Jersey City "A" Team, regularly taking home a trophy.

While he retired form the Jersey City Fire Department in 2010, he has not retired from skiing.
